skill function to open a layout view

Hi Cadence,

if I get the database ID of a cell view ( layout cell ) with dbOpenCellViewByType() , is there a skill function to open the cell in a new window ? 

I'd like to attach this to a bindkey to point and click to select a layout cell instance and open,  I know there is descend Edit and Read but I don't want to descend in case I want to select something in my current layout and copy that to the other window.
