Hi,
I am new to this forum and i have started my career as a layout designer recently. Now i am trying to develop a code which gives me the area of a block irrespective of the pdk or technology used.
By using the "bBox" command i am able to get half of my work done. But the problem i am facing is if any space inside the block is left empty even that area is also counted. So i want to eliminate the unused space and get the area of space which is used.
Can please someone help me with this and guide me to correct procedure if my approach is wrong.
